Always Confirm With Your Host Before Booking

Each retreat, resort and private rental on PickleGetaways sets its own cancellation policy. The policy shown on each listing page is provided by the host and is binding once a booking is confirmed. If no cancellation policy is clearly displayed on a listing, we strongly recommend you contact the host directly to confirm their terms before completing your booking. PickleGetaways acts as a marketplace and is not responsible for individual host cancellation decisions.

Date Transfers

Many hosts will offer a date transfer to a future retreat or stay rather than a cash refund. Ask your host if this option is available before requesting a cancellation.

Force Majeure and Emergencies

In cases of natural disaster, serious illness or government travel restrictions, most hosts will work with guests individually. Contact your host as early as possible and provide supporting documentation.

Host-Initiated Cancellations

If a host cancels your confirmed booking, you are entitled to a full refund of any amounts paid. Contact PickleGetaways support if a host cancels and you have not received your refund within 14 days.

Contact Your Host Directly

Send a message to your host through the PickleGetaways enquiry thread. Clearly state your reason for cancellation, your booking dates and what refund you are requesting. Ask for written confirmation of their decision.

Confirm the Outcome in Writing

Once the host responds, confirm the agreed outcome (refund amount, credit or date transfer) in the same message thread so both parties have a clear record.

Contact PickleGetaways Support if Needed

If you are unable to reach your host or a dispute arises, contact our support team with your booking details and we will assist in facilitating a resolution.
