PickleGetaways is the world's only dedicated marketplace for pickleball travel. We connect players of all skill levels with curated retreats, resorts and private court rentals that have been built around the sport. Whether you are picking up a paddle for the first time or competing at a 5.0 level, PickleGetaways helps you find and book your ideal pickleball experience anywhere in the world.

2. Is it free to search and enquire as a player?

Yes, completely free. You can browse all listings, view full details including photos, pricing, amenities and host profiles, and send enquiries to any host at no cost. No account is required to search. PickleGetaways does not take any payment from players. All payments for bookings are arranged directly between you and the host.

3. What skill level do I need to join a pickleball retreat?

Retreats on PickleGetaways welcome all skill levels from complete beginners through to advanced 4.5 and 5.0 rated players. Each listing clearly states the skill levels it caters to. Many retreats accept mixed-level groups and separate players by ability on arrival so everyone receives coaching appropriate to their level. Use the skill level filter on our search page to find retreats that match where you are at.

PickleGetaways features listings across 150 countries worldwide. Popular destinations include the United States, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Bali, Thailand, Australia and the Caribbean. You can search by country, city or region on our search page. New destinations are added every week as our host community continues to grow globally.

5. What is the difference between a retreat, a resort and a private rental?

Retreats are structured all-inclusive programs on fixed dates with professional coaching, accommodation and meals included. You book a spot in an existing program. Resorts and Hotels are pickleball-focused properties where you choose your own dates and room type, similar to booking a hotel. Private Rentals are exclusive-hire villas, homes or standalone courts where your group books the entire property and plays on your own schedule with no other guests.

6. What is included in a pickleball retreat?

Most retreats on PickleGetaways include professional coaching, accommodation, meals and court time as part of the package price. Many also include airport transfers, equipment, video analysis, social events and evening activities. The exact inclusions vary by host and are clearly listed in each listing under the What is Included section. Always review the full listing details before enquiring.

7. Can I book a private rental for a group or club trip?

Yes, private rentals are ideal for groups, clubs and corporate events. You hire the entire property exclusively for your group so you have the courts and facilities to yourselves. Simply send an enquiry to the host with your group size, preferred dates and any specific requirements. Many rental hosts can accommodate groups of 8 to 20 or more depending on the property.

8. How do I book a pickleball retreat or resort stay?

Find a listing you love and click the Send an Enquiry button on the listing page. Include your preferred dates, group size and any questions you have. The host will typically respond within 24 hours to confirm availability and discuss details. Once you agree on everything, the host will confirm your booking and arrange payment directly with you outside of PickleGetaways.

9. What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies are set individually by each host and differ between listings. The policy for each listing is displayed on the listing page in the booking section. If no cancellation policy is clearly shown, we strongly recommend contacting the host directly to confirm their terms before making any payment. 10. What if I need to change or cancel my booking?

Contact your host directly as soon as possible through your enquiry message thread and explain your situation. Many hosts offer date transfers to a future retreat or stay as an alternative to a cash refund. Confirm any changes or cancellation agreement in writing within your message thread to protect both parties. If you are unable to resolve a dispute with your host, contact our support team and we will help facilitate a resolution.

11. How do I list my retreat, resort or rental on PickleGetaways?

Click the List Your Space button in the navigation to access our listing form. Select your listing category (Retreat, Resort or Private Rental) and the form will adapt to show the relevant fields. Complete all sections including description, location, photos, amenities and pricing, then submit for review. Our team reviews and approves listings within 24 hours. Listing is completely free with no fees or commissions.

12. Is there a fee to list on PickleGetaways?

No. Listing on PickleGetaways is completely free. There is no setup fee, no monthly subscription and no commission taken on enquiries or bookings. You list your space, receive enquiries directly from players and handle all bookings and payments yourself. PickleGetaways earns revenue through optional promoted listing features, not by charging hosts or taking a cut of bookings.

13. Can I list more than one retreat or property?

Yes, hosts can list as many retreats, resorts or rentals as they like. Each listing is created and managed separately with its own photos, description, pricing, availability and cancellation policy. There is no limit on the number of listings you can have on PickleGetaways and each additional listing is also free to create.

14. How does PickleGetaways verify listings and reviews?

Every new listing submitted to PickleGetaways is manually reviewed by our team before it goes live. We check that listings are genuine, accurately described and meet our quality standards. Reviews on the platform are verified, meaning they can only be left by guests who have completed a confirmed stay or retreat. This ensures the reviews you read reflect real experiences from real players.

15. How is PickleGetaways different from a general travel platform?

PickleGetaways is built exclusively for pickleball travel. Every listing on our platform has a pickleball court and is curated specifically for players. Unlike general travel sites, we go deep on the details that matter to pickleball travellers including coaching certifications, skill level suitability, court surfaces, open play formats and sport-specific amenities. Our audience is 100% pickleball players, which means hosts reach the right guests and players find experiences tailored to the sport they love.
