About This Retreat

Join us in the quaint jungle meets the beach community of Montezuma on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula for a unique pickleball experience to remember. Built into the mountainside sit our adorable wooden casitas with breathtaking views of the jungle and ocean in the distance. With access to both hotel courts within walking distance and a private court complete with rooftop (for shade and protection from rain) and lighting for night play opportunities. Your hosts are experienced coaches in other modalities. Brady Bruno has a long history of coaching athletes of all ages. He coached a competitive snowboard team since 1996 bringing many of his athletes to the X Games and one shining star won gold in the Olympics twice. He also runs a waterski school and teaches all ages how to have fun behind the boat. Kristen Kristina (our American & Jungle names respectively) has a long history of teaching yoga and is actively a massage therapist. While both of us are novices at pickleball we naturally love to teach the game and are happy to share tips.

Soul Fire Casitas welcomes you to stay! Our guest rooms have their own kitchens, private baths, balconies with a view and plenty of charm. Evenings on our property are a dream with sunset views followed by a starlit sky. Join us after the court for good times by the camp fire with refreshing beverages in hand.
