Sautee Mountain Retreat offers deluxe accommodations in twelve beautifully decorated large mountain villas, as well as three secluded, cozy one bedroom cabins with private screened in porches and hot tubs. All have complimentary Wi-Fi, heating/air conditioning and ceiling fans, a washer-dryer, iron, ironing board and a hairdryer in each bathroom. All interiors are Ponderosa Pine with hardwood floors.

Experience
Kord was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia and grew up playing competitive tennis on the junior circuit claiming many state championships. He attended Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts where he played number one singles and doubles for four years and earned All-American status. After college Kord took his talents to the professional tour where he competed for almost two years before he chose to make coaching his profession. He served as the adult tennis coordinator at Top Notch in Stowe Vermont, Director of New England Tennis Holiday before entering college tennis. Kord coached at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, then coached the 8th ranked women’s tennis team at the College of William and Mary. After completing the most successful season in program history he moved his wife to Middlebury, Vermont where he coached the men’s tennis team to a national championship and two runner up finishes, compiling one of the most impressive win-loss records in NCAA tennis. Kord currently has two children attending the university of Vermont and is expecting another child in a few months. After moving back to Georgia, he took over as director of tennis and pickleball at the prestigious Waterfall Club at Lake Burton, and this is where his passion turned to Pickleball. "I have not picked up a tennis racket in over three years" he sadly boasts. Kord has become a certified teaching professional and is a 5.0 rated player who competes professionally in the senior division. His dream was to build a unique two court facility at his family’s resort and to run a pickleball academy. The dream has now become a reality with the launch of PickleFalls Pickleball Academy and Adventures.
